Zone Alarm How Can I Restore An Internet Connection Without Rebooting When Zone Alarm Has Locked Me Out?

How can I restore an internet connection without rebooting when Zone Alarm has locked me out? - zone alarm

I turned off the automatic lock. But after a period of inactivity, including Zone Alarm my internet connection, although the picture frame is always open. I know of no way to reconnect without rebooting. Can I avoid this?

Are you sure that Zone Alarm, not the ISP? I have a DSL connection, I also use ZoneAlarm, and had the same problem. Dead after an hour of inactivity, the connection was.
I had to be restarted.

ZoneAlarm, but it seems to work well. I Disable Zonealarm but the problem continues.

Then I realized it was my ISP. I now have Outlook Express e-mail every 30 minutes. And my problem is solved. ISP washed me for inaction.

I tried talking to them, but in vain. If a connection is useless to say, and who the bandwidth that the bandwidth of the compounds used at idle. Therefore, to check mail every 30 minutes. and my problem solved. No need to worry about inactivity on the connection.

Now for ZoneAlarm and a hardware firewall. I feel like routersHectares hardware firewall, but I use ZoneAlarm because it is the only way to want to manage the programs that access the Internet or a system.

To configure the firewall router is using the command window and appropriate, and that much work for me.

Do you have a router, you are on broadband? If so, most routers have a hardware firewall included (see, to see on the Internet, if you do not) .. Remove If yes, ZoneAlarm, you will need the hardware firewall that will work for you automatically.

This is ZA. If you close the connection or did not do it again and again for me. Always restarts. I will always be connected, the DSL is.

I would say you have an error with Zone Alarm, which is not clearly be so. I would "Google" the problem or forum.Try Alarm Box Office to determine the cause, instead of finding ways to make the best of luck!
