I just bought a phillips dvp 3120 dvd player and it states that it will play any dvd? - hava player
i hava a region of about 1 DVD does not, however, said a multi-region player, any ideas?

could be encoded discs and custom manufactrer allow a region to play in the 2-rule region, where the main menu of the DVD player that allows you to activate trying to look like?. Hope this helps.
